Workflow planning
AI Appointment Booking for Service Businesses
Plan a scheduling workflow that preserves attribution and measures confirmed appointments rather than button clicks.
Discuss my workflowA clear path from inquiry to calendar
Make the scheduling action easy to find and use a supported calendar destination. Optional context can help a salesperson prepare, but the prospect should not have to complete a long enrichment form before choosing a time.
Define the booking authority
A calendar button is intent. A booking is an actual appointment record with a valid contact, calendar, status and creation time. Keep that distinction in the CRM and in reporting.
Preserve the original source
Capture acquisition evidence once and keep subsequent touches separately. Internal navigation or a direct revisit should not overwrite the original campaign. If the evidence is missing, report the source as unknown.
Handle repeats and reschedules
Keep stable appointment identifiers and separate first-acquired people from appointment activity. A reschedule should not become another newly acquired contact. Existing-client and internal appointments need explicit exclusions.
Decide what success means
Agree on the calendar journey, required fields, attribution rules, owner handoff and verification checks. Qualified appointments and attended calls are separate outcomes and need their own evidence. No appointment volume or revenue guarantee is implied.
